LYKO, the Nordic region's leading beauty e-commerce company, was tripling its central warehouse in Vansbro and preparing for continued expansion across Europe. Logistics automation runs from early morning to late evening, and around the clock during peak periods. The network could not be the bottleneck.
What we built.
We designed and implemented a chassis-based Juniper datacenter solution from the ground up. The focus was high availability for warehouse automation and enough flexibility to connect satellite warehouses, stores and offices as LYKO grows. The solution was built to support logistics automation as a critical business process, not as an IT deliverable.

Our earlier project with SHEBANG has resulted in a very stable infrastructure. In five years we've had one incident, caused by a hardware fault. The choice of hardware vendor and how the infrastructure was built have made it easy to continue our great collaboration.
